Gina Colaizzo, MSN, BSN, BS, PNP-BC
Gina Colaizzo is a pediatric nurse practitioner at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. She earned a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience at Lafayette College, in Easton, Pennsylvania. Ms. Colaizzo then pursued a second bachelor’s degree in nursing at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. She then completed a master’s degree with the Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Program at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
Ms. Colaizzo has written, illustrated, and published two children’s books entitled How to be a Winner for Dinner and With My Bear Hands to help promote healthy habits for kids.
Ms. Colaizzo is employed by Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists (NCPS), the multi-specialty medical group practice of Nicklaus Children’s Health System.
