Rosa M. Roche, PhD, APRN, PPCNP-BC
Rosa Roche is a board-certified primary care pediatric nurse practitioner within the Department of Psychiatry at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. She is a three-time alumna of Florida International University in Miami, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing, master’s degree in nursing and a doctorate degree in nursing. Ms. Roche has a strong commitment to research, along with a passion for evidence-based outcomes and community engagement. Her clinical interests include the physical and mental well-being of children who have lost a sibling and children who have a chronic illness.
Rosa Roche is a member of several organizations such as Sigma Theta Tau, the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP) and Florida Nurses Association. She has a passion for community engagement and has volunteered countless hours to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Ventilator Assisted Childrens Center and serves as a clinical director for the Special Olympics.
Mrs. Roche is employed by Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialist (NCPS), the multispecialty medical group practice of Nicklaus Children’s Health System. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.
