Dr. Rivero-Conil is the associate director of the Department of Psychology at Nicklaus Children's Hospital. She has served as a pediatric psychologist at Nicklaus Children’s since 2010 and focuses primarily on assessing and treating the psychosocial impact of medical illness on the child and their family.

Dr. Rivero-Conil has lectured nationally and is frequently quoted in the media.
