Teen Applicants: Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. We are currently at capacity for our Teen academic year program. You are encouraged to apply for our summer 2016 teen volunteer program. Applications will be available and accepted from March 21 – March 23, 2016.
Adult & College Student Applicants are encouraged to apply year-round for the one-year commitment volunteer program.

Imagine helping one of the world's leading pediatric health care facilities provide care to its young patients. Maybe you're a retiree wanting to keep your skills fresh, or a student hoping to learn new skills or fulfill a school community service requirement. Volunteers complement professional services in patient care and support areas of the hospital. Nicklaus Children's Hospital, formerly Miami Children's Hospital, takes great pride in its volunteers who devote many hours of personal time to provide assistance to the patients, their families and hospital staff.

Giving to others is a very rewarding experience. Volunteering at Nicklaus Children's Hospital, formerly Miami Children's Hospital, will give you the great feeling of "I've done something for my community".

Please note that all Nicklaus Children's Hospital volunteers must be able to speak English. Knowledge of a second language is a big plus!
