Mikhail Mirer, MD, FAAP
Pediatric Neurologist
Dr. Mikhail Mirer is a board-certified pediatric neurologist within the Division of Neurology, part of the Nicklaus Children’s Neuroscience Institute. He earned his medical degree from the Moscow Medical Stomatological Institute in Russia. Dr. Mirer completed his residency in pediatrics at Brooklyn Hospital Medical Center in New York. Dr. Mirer then pursued a fellowship in child neurology at Long Island Jewish Medical Center/Schneider Children's Hospital in New Hyde Park, New York.
Dr. Mirer has over 29 years of experience in child and adult neurology, specializing in epilepsy, developmental disabilities, autism, Tourette’s syndrome, migraines, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and other neurological conditions.
Dr. Mirer is board certified in general pediatrics and neurology, with special qualifications in neurodevelopmental disabilities. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. His work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and he has presented at medical conferences.
Dr. Mirer is employed by Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists (NCPS), the multispecialty medical group practice of Nicklaus Children’s Health System.
