Jacques Orces, DO, MS, FAAP
Vice President and Chief Medical Officer
Jacques Orces, DO, serves as vice president and chief medical officer (CMO) for Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, a nationally recognized nonprofit pediatric specialty hospital based in Miami, Florida and the flagship campus of Nicklaus Children’s Health System, the region’s only healthcare system exclusively for children.
In his role, Dr. Orces oversees the medical staff and clinical operations of the 307-bed hospital and the system's network of pediatric outpatient centers situated in Miami-Dade, Broward, Martin and Palm Beach. He ensures patients receive high quality, coordinated care throughout their health journey.
Dr. Orces previously served as the chief medical information officer at Nicklaus Children’s Health System, and the vice president and chief medical officer of the Miami Children’s Health Plan. Most recently, he was the associate chief medical information officer of Memorial Health System and medical director of clinical effectiveness at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Orces earned his medical degree from the Nova Southeastern University and completed his residency at Nicklaus Children's Hospital.
