Pediatric Hospital Medicine
Dr. Etinger is employed by Pediatric Specialists of America (PSA)
, the physician-led multispecialty group practice of Nicklaus Children’s Health System
. She is a pediatric hospitalist within the Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine
at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital and an assistant professor at Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine at Florida International University. Dr. Etinger earned her medical degree with honors from the University of Buenos Aires in Argentina. She completed a residency in pediatrics at Children’s Hospital “Dr. Ricardo Gutiérrez” Buenos Aires in Argentina. She then moved to the U.S. with her family, where she completed a pediatric residency at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital and also served as chief resident. Her interests include quality improvement, medical education and evidence-based medicine.
Dr. Etinger is board certified in general pediatrics. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the Society of Hospital Medicine. Dr. Etinger is active on several of the hospital’s committees, including the hospital’s Evidence-Based Medicine Committee and Pediatric Resident Selection Committee. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals, she has presented at national conferences and participated in numerous quality-improvement projects.
Dr. Etinger sees patients at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.
