Jose Garri, MD

 

Dr. Joe Garri is plastic surgeon on staff at Nicklaus Children's Hospital. A graduate of University of Florida College of Dentistry in Gainesville and the S.U.N.Y. at Stony Brook College of Medicine in New York, he completed his residency in general practice dentistry at University Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida, in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Harlem Hospital in New York, and in general surgery at the University of Miami. Dr. Garri proceeded to complete a fellowship in plastic surgery at the University of Miami at Jackson Memorial Hospital, as well as a fellowship in craniofacial surgery at the University of California at Los Angeles.

The doctor is a diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery, American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and also a diplomate of the American Board of General Surgery. Dr. Garri currently serves as Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Plastic Surgery at the University of Miami. Over the years Dr. Garri has published many articles and has presented at conferences throughout the United States in topics related to plastic surgery and craniofacial surgery.
