Jose A Bengochea, MD
Pediatrician
Dr. Bengochea earned his medical degree from Centro de Estudios Tecnológica in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He then completed a residency in pediatrics at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Bengochea is board certified in general pediatrics. He is a member of the American Medical Association and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Academy of Cardiology. Dr. Bengochea has worked on multiple non-profit projects throughout Latin American and Africa with a focus on HIV, tuberculosis (TB) and malaria. He has presented at international conferences on topics ranging from asthma to child abuse.
