“Baby Jaslene was born in September of 2008, three months before her due date. She weighed only two pounds. She was very ill and couldn't cry much, but we knew she was a strong little girl. She couldn't breathe or eat on her own, but with care from the NICU, she started to get stronger and more active. We were with her every day in the hospital and the staff was very friendly. They were always happy to explain anything to us if we had questions. Each day was a victory for us, because she showed signs of survival and strength. Now she is a happy four-year-old who is healthy and strong. You wouldn't even know she was born premature by looking at her. We thank the Nicklaus Children's staff for taking good care of Jaslene and treating us like family.”

agosto 01, 2022 – Lana se quedó muda cuando ella y su pareja se enteraron de que esperaban trillizos después de un tratamiento exitoso de fertilidad de IVF (fecundación in vitro). La pareja experimentó muchas emociones, incluida la felicidad por agrandar la familia y la preocupación por si habría algún riesgo para la salud relacionado con que los trillizos llegaran a término. A las 32 semanas, Lana tuvo a los trillizos en Jupiter Medical Center.

Patient of the Month: Bradley

abril 28, 2021 – After being transferred via LifeFlight ambulance to Nicklaus Children's Hospital shortly after birth, Bradley was placed on medication to help control his overproduction of insulin. After tests showed he suffered from diffused white matter damage, aggressive intervention was required. Overcoming countless challenges, 54 days later Bradley graduated out of the NICU and was able to continue healing at home.

Esta reconocida certificación pone de manifiesto su compromiso con la excelencia clínica y la calidad de la atención de los pacientes para nuestra población más vulnerable en Nicklaus Children’s Hospital.
