“I was treated at Nicklaus Children's Hospital, formerly Miami Children's Hospital, until I was eighteen years old and feel very lucky to have been treated there. I am now able to walk on my own two legs. My problem was that I had one leg shorter than the other. I had two surgeries that made my leg longer and I also had a surgery to fix my knock knee twice. There were so many surgeries that I cannot remember them all. I would have to look for them at my mom and dad’s place. I can also tell you that I tell everybody that I was treated at Nicklaus Children's Hospital, formerly Miami Children's Hospital, and how lucky I was to go there.
