Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics offers services to children who have developmental delays and/or learning or behavioral issues. Physicians in this growing specialty provide assessment and guidance for children with a wide range of developmental or behavioral challenges. The Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center
The IBD Center at Nicklaus Children’s is a multidisciplinary program that provides comprehensive
support and management for children and young adults with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. The center brings
together a wide range of care specialists to support the child and family in managing individual care needs.
The Center uses state-of-the-art diagnostic tools and treatments including:
- Flexible scopes, called endoscopes and colonoscopes
- Imaging services including fluoroscopy, CT scans, and MRI scans
- Camera pill (or PillCam), a non-invasive capsule endoscopy.
