Signs of a Job Scam

  • Too good to be true. Scammers use high-paying salaries and great benefits to lure you into ignoring other red flags. If you did not apply for the job, chances are you didn't get the job!
  • Fake email addresses. Look out for similar but incorrect email addresses, such as recruiter@nicklaushealth.co or nicklaushealth@gmail.com.
  • Also watch out for any message using an alternative messaging app, such as WhatsApp, Signal, or Telegram.
  • Asking for money or personal information via email. Nicklaus Children's will never solicit payments or payment information from candidates. All personal information is handled through our HR platform and never through email.
  • Interviews where you don't see another person. Virtual interviews are more common now; however, you should see a person on the other side. Interviews don't occur via text or chat.
  • If you are asked to download an app to interview with Nicklaus Children's. We will never ask for you to download an app to your phone to schedule or complete and interview with us.
