Dr. Maria Ramon-Coton serves as chief of Nicklaus Children’s Urgent Care Centers. She earned her medical degree from Universidad Central del Este in San Pedro de Macorís, Dominican Republic. Dr. Ramon-Coton then completed a residency in pediatrics at New York Medical College/Metropolitan Hospital Center in New York City. Her clinical interests include primary and urgent care.
Dr. Ramon-Coton is board certified in general pediatrics. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. Ramon-Coton is employed by Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists, the multispecialty group practice of Nicklaus Children’s Health System.
