On March 20, 1950, thanks to the vision of Dr. Arthur H. Weiland and Variety Clubs International Miami Tent #33, Variety Children’s Hospital opened its doors to serve the children and families of this community. Because of the commitment of these leaders, tomorrow we will celebrate our Founders’ Day recognizing Nicklaus Children’s Hospital’s 71st Anniversary.
For over seven decades, with the support of many talented professionals like you, we have been able to deliver high-quality, world-class care to millions of children and families from South Florida and beyond. We continue to build on this legacy and know that it will carry on for many decades to come.
Thank you for your dedication to Nicklaus Children’s and the children and families we serve. I hope you will celebrate this anniversary as if it were your own because you are a vital part of our history. And we couldn’t do it without you.
