Dr. Anirudh Bandu is a pediatric rheumatologist within the Division of Rheumatology at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. Dr. Bandu earned his medical degree from American University of Antigua in Antiqua. He then completed a residency in pediatrics at Saint Peters University Hospital/Children’s Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey, followed by a fellowship in pediatric rheumatology at Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles in California. His clinical interests include juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA), systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), and ANCA vasculitis. Dr. Bandu is board certified in general pediatrics. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, American College of Rheumatology and Childhood Arthritis and Rheumatology Research Alliance (CARRA). Dr. Bandu is employed by Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists (NCPS), the multispecialty medical group practice of Nicklaus Children’s Health System. The Division of Pediatric Rheumatology at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital is the largest pediatric program in South Florida providing comprehensive, multidisciplinary diagnosis, treatment and support for families of children affected by rheumatologic conditions. Our team of board-certified pediatric rheumatologists collaborates with physical and occupational therapists, social workers, dieticians and behavioral specialists to support the child and family in managing rheumatologic-related chronic conditions to achieve the highest possible quality of life.
