Juan Infante, MD
Pediatric Radiologist
Dr. Juan Infante is a pediatric radiologist within the
Department of Radiology at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. He earned his medical degree from the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine. Dr. Infante completed a residency in diagnostic surgery at University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. He then pursued a fellowship in pediatric radiology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine/Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago in Illinois. His clinical interests include advanced cardiovascular and dime genitourinary imaging including 3D techniques without intravenous contrast.
Dr. Infante is board certified in diagnostic radiology and pediatric radiology. His work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and he has presented at medical conferences.
Dr. Infante is employed by
Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists (NCPS), the physician-led multispecialty medical group practice of
Nicklaus Children’s Health System. He is bilingual in Spanish and English.
Department of Radiology at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital features state-of-the-art equipment. The radiology practice has been serving the community since the hospital's inception in 1950. Under the leadership of Dr. Nolan R. Altman, department chief, the group is the largest in South Florida devoted exclusively to the practice of pediatric radiology. It includes board-certified experts in pediatric radiology, nuclear medicine, neuroradiology and cardiac CT imaging, with special interests in fetal imaging, pediatric interventional, as well as developmental and musculoskeletal disorders. The group is the only one in South Florida that offers a pediatric radiology fellowship, and also trains radiology residents.
