Gabriela Mihalache, MD

Dr. Gabriela Mihalache provides care at Nicklaus Children’s Urgent Care Centers. She earned her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Timișoara, Romania. Dr. Mihalache completed a residency in pediatrics at Flushing Hospital Medical Center in Queens, New York. She then pursued a fellowship in neonatal-perinatal medicine at Stony Brook University Hospital in New York and St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Mihalache is board certified in pediatrics and has more than 25 years of experience, including 10 years as a pediatric emergency room physician in South Florida. She speaks English, French and Romanian.
Dr. Mihalache is employed by Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists (NCPS), the multispecialty medical group practice of Nicklaus Children’s Health System.
