Dr. Zubin J. Panthaki received his medical degree from McGill University in 1995. He also completed his plastic surgery training in the same institution. Dr. Panthaki completed a fellowship in reconstructive microsurgery and hand surgery at the prestigious Bunke Clinic in San Francisco. He joined the University of Miami School of Medicine in the Division of Plastic Surgery in 2001 as Assistant Professor of Clinical Surgery. Dr. Panthaki specializes in Hand Surgery and Microsurgery. He has extensive experience with upper extremity reconstruction, especially in the fields of free flaps and microvascular tissue transfers, as well as his qualifications for Hand Surgery. He is eligible for the Certificate of Added Qualifications in Hand Surgery and is board certified in Canada by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Panthaki has significant experience in hand surgery including treatment of benign and malignant tumors of the hand and upper extremity, peripheral neuropathies, infections, tendon injuries and transfers, treatment of rheumatoid and osteoarthritic diseases of the hand, joint replacements and management of fractures and dislocations.
