Pediatric and Adult Congenital Interventional Cardiologist
 
Dr. Suntharos earned his medical degree from Bangkok Metropolitan Administration Medical College and Vajira Hospital, Mahidol University in Bangkok, Thailand. He then completed a residency in pediatrics and a fellowship in pediatric cardiology at the Cohen Children’s Medical Center of New York in New Hyde Park. Dr. Suntharos then pursued an advanced fellowship in pediatric and congenital interventional cardiology at the Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. His clinical interests include various types of transcatheter interventions for both children and adults with congenital heart disease.
 
Dr. Suntharos is board certified in general pediatrics, pediatric cardiology and adult congenital heart disease. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, American College of Cardiology and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions. His work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and he has presented at conferences and written book chapters for medical textbooks. Dr. Suntharos has also participated in international mission trips to deliver medical care to underserved populations in Thailand.
