Metee Comkornruecha, MD, FAAP

Dr. Comkornruecha earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center in Memphis. He completed his residency in pediatrics and a fellowship in adolescent medicine at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. His clinical interests include the medical treatment of eating disorders, polycystic ovarian syndrome and adolescent male health issues. 

Dr. Comkornruecha is board certified in pediatrics and adolescent medicine. He is a member of the Society of Adolescent Health and Medicine, and the Academy for Eating Disorders. Dr. Comkornruecha has lectured on a wide range of topics, including male teen health, eating disorders, menstrual irregularities and pre-participation sports examinations. His work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and he is frequently quoted as a subject-matter expert in the media.
