Pediatric Nephrologist

Dr. Nwobi is employed by Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists, the physician-led multispecialty group practice of Nicklaus Children’s Health System. He earned his medical degree from the University of Nigeria, Enugu campus. Dr. Nwobi completed his pediatric residency at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, followed by a fellowship in pediatric nephrology at the University of Miami. He is board certified in pediatric nephrology. Dr. Nwobi is a member of the American Society of Nephrology and the American Society of Pediatric Nephrology. His clinical interests include hypertension, chronic kidney disease, dialysis, lupus nephritis and kidney transplantation.

Dr. Nwobi sees patients at the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital main campus. He is fluent in English and Ibo.
