Pediatric Gastroenterologist
 
Dr. Koyfman earned her medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark. She completed her pediatric residency at Jacobi Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, New York; then pursued a fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology at Harvard Medical School/Massachusetts General Hospital for Children in Boston. During her fellowship training at Harvard Medical School, Dr. Koyfman worked on research focused on the enteric nervous system (ENS) in Dr. Allan Goldstein’s Lab. Her clinical interests include inflammatory bowel disease and protein-induced proctocolitis.
 
Dr. Koyfman is board certified in both general pediatrics and pediatric gastroenterology. She is a member of the North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (NASPGHAN) and her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals.
