Pediatric Gastroenterologist

Dr. Peters earned his doctorate of osteopathy from the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in East Lansing. He completed both his pediatric residency and a fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan in Detroit. His clinical interests include inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease in children and short bowel syndrome.

Dr. Peters is board certified in general pediatrics and pediatric gastroenterology. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and the North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition. Dr. Peters has authored chapters of medical textbooks and his work has been published in peer-reviewed journals.
