Selvia Beshay, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, CCRN, CPN
Selvia Beshay is a board-certified nurse practitioner with the Division of Neurosurgery, part of the Nicklaus Children's Neuroscience Institute. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey followed by her bachelor’s degree in nursing at Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida. Ms. Beshay then completed a master’s degree in nursing while simultaneously completing the nurse practioner program at St. Thomas University in Miami Gardens, Florida.
Her journey at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital began in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), where she first served as a NICU bedside nurse and later advanced to the role of NICU charge nurse.
Ms. Beshay is a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Ms. Beshay is employed by Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists (NCPS), the multispecialty medical group practice of Nicklaus Children’s Health System.
