Dr. Salvitti earned her medical degree at the Sapienza University of Rome, where she also completed her five-year residency in urology at Policlinico Umberto I, one of the largest teaching hospitals in Europe. During her residency, she developed a strong interest in pediatric urology and spent elective rotations as an observer first at Boston Children's Hospital and later at Nicklaus Children's Hospital. After completing her urology residency in Italy, Dr. Salvitti moved to the United States and completed a three-year fellowship in pediatric urology at Nicklaus Children's Hospital and Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Salvitti has been involved in clinical research. She has published articles in peer-reviewed journals and has presented in several national and international meetings. She is actively involved in volunteer activities and each year joins a surgical mission trip in the Dominican Republic.

Dr. Salvitti has a special interest in penile reconstructive surgery and treatment of neurological and non-neurological bladder disorders. She is currently the medical director of the Department of Urodynamics and Voiding Improvement Program at Nicklaus Children's Hospital.

In her free time, Dr. Salvitti enjoys running, swimming and yoga. She loves to travel and explore new places, as well as cooking for family and friends.

Dr. Salvitti is employed by Children's Urology Associates, a private pediatric urology practice with offices throughout South Florida.
