A Fullbright Scholar, Dr. Danon has been exposed to the medical education systems of several important medical schools. He completed his three-year pediatric residency at Wayne State University Children’s Hospital of Michigan and became a fellow in Pediatric Endocrinology and Metabolism at Harvard Medical School’s Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Danon was appointed instructor in Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School at Massachusetts General where he taught for 20 years, receiving the Best Teacher Award on various occasions. He became Chief of Pediatric Endocrinology at Maimonides Medical Center in 1991.
