Nicklaus Children's Opens Subspecialty Clinic in Aventura

Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, part of Miami Children’s Health System, announces the opening of the Nicklaus Children’s Aventura Care Center, offering a range of pediatric subspecialty consultations for children from birth to 21 years of age.  The center also provides diagnostic services (EEG, EKG, Echocardiogram and X-Ray) by appointment. The 7,500 square foot facility is located at 20295 Northeast 29 Place, suite 300 in Aventura.

“It is part of our ongoing vision to be where the children are and increase access to quality healthcare for children in South Florida,” said Nancy Humbert, Executive Vice President of Ambulatory Services and External Affiliations for Miami Children’s Health System. “We are delighted to bring world-class subspecialty care closer to home for families in the Aventura area,” she said.

Appointments with physicians employed by Pediatric Specialists of America are available in the following pediatric subspecialties: cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, otolaryngology (ENT), plastic and reconstructive surgery, rheumatology, and neurosurgery. Pediatric neurology consultations with private practice physicians are also available by appointment only. The following pediatric subspecialties will be available this summer: allergy and immunology and orthopedics.
