The Florida Poison Information Center - Miami (Poison Control)
A Florida Department of Health funded program of the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine/Jackson Health System providing 24/7 assistance to callers with poisoning emergencies or any poison-related question.  The Poison Center also provides educational materials for making the home “poison safe” for children, adults and pets.  The Poison Control Center Hotline (1-800-222-1222) is free, confidential, and available in English or Spanish.  A translation service is also available for speakers of other languages.
