HOMESTEAD - Nicklaus Children’s Health System announces the opening of its newest urgent care location, the Nicklaus Children’s Homestead Outpatient Center. The 6,900-square-foot facility, located at 2072 NE 8 Street at the Campbell Shoppes in Homestead, offers walk-in pediatric urgent care, provided by experts in pediatric care, led by board-certified pediatricians. The center is open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and offers care for infants older than 2 months, children, teens and young adults through age 21. X-ray and lab services are also offered at this location as part of urgent care services when needed.
Nicklaus Children’s urgent care facilities provide the comfort of walk-in urgent care for minor injuries and illnesses with no appointment needed. Typically with a co-pay lower than an emergency room visit. Nicklaus Children’s outpatient center services vary per location, also including rehabilitation services, imaging services, subspecialty medical appointments, and more, at other locations. Nicklaus Children’s outpatient centers are located in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.
