Miami Children's Hospital Miami Lakes Outpatient Center Now Open for Rehabilitation Services

Miami Lakes, FL- Miami Children’s Hospital (MCH) announces the opening of the MCH Miami Lakes Outpatient Center. The center is now open for pediatric rehabilitation services (physical, occupational and speech-language therapies). The first patient to receive rehabilitative care at the MCH Miami Lakes Outpatient Center was seen on Monday, September 30.
Other services, which will be offered later this fall, include diagnostic imaging services (x-ray), pediatric urgent care for minor injuries and illnesses and appointments with select subspecialists. All services except urgent care Jennifer Gomez, Speech-language pathologist, and Jacob Iglesias during a speech therapy session at the MCH Miami Lakes Outpatient Centerwill be provided by appointment during standard office hours. Urgent care will open on October 15 and will be available from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays and from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekends.
The MCH Miami Lakes Outpatient Center is located at 15025 NW 77 Avenue, Miami Lakes, FL 33014.The facility is one of nine comprehensive outpatient centers dedicated to exceeding the expectations of children and their families by providing world-class pediatric healthcare within the community. The opening of MCH Miami Lakes Outpatient Center will trigger the relocation of Miami Children’s Rehabilitation Services- Miami Lakes to this expanded, 32,600 square-foot facility.
