Miami Children’s Hospital Welcomes Two New Board Members

Miami, FL – Two community leaders – Mr. Ghislain Gouraige and Mr. Michael Fux -- have been newly appointed to serve on Miami Children’s Hospital’s Board of Directors. They will serve on the 20-member board which provides guidance and direction to leadership of the 289-bed children’s hospital.

Mr. Ghislain Gouraige, Jr., Senior Vice President and Private Wealth Advisor of UBS Financial Services Inc., has been appointed as a member of the Miami Children's Hospital Board of Directors. Prior to joining UBS, Mr. Gouraige was a Senior Vice President and Private Client Advisor in Bank of America's Private Bank, and a Vice President and Investment Representative with the Private Client Division of Lehman Brothers in Miami, Florida. Mr. Gouraige has 25 years of experience in the financial services industry and has worked with Merrill Lynch, and Citibank respectively. Mr. Gouraige is active on the following boards: Ransom Everglades School (former Chair), University of Pennsylvania Library Board of Overseers, the Dade Fund, WPBT Channel 2, New World Symphony, Florida Governor's Haiti Advisory Group, Dade Community Foundation,  Miami City Club (President), Miami Museum of Science, Bayfront Park Management Trust (Chair) among others.

Michael Fux, CEO of Comfort Revolution, has been appointed as a member of the Miami Children's Hospital Board of Directors. Mr. Fux is an entrepreneur with over 40 years experience in founding, developing and launching successful companies in the home furnishing industry. Mr. Fux established the Michael Fux Foundation in 2006, with the mission of helping sick and underprivileged children and their families. In 2008, Mr. Fux created the Injured Officers Assistance Fund to help police officers of Greater Miami who have suffered from nearly fatal, debilitating injuries while on-duty.
