Miami Children’s Hospital Names New Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Pedro A. Alfaro, CPA, has been named Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Miami Children’s Hospital (MCH). Mr. Alfaro has served the hospital for more than 30 years, most recently as vice president of finance. 

“During his tenure at Miami Children’s Hospital, Mr. Alfaro has demonstrated expertise in financial management, strategy development, bond financing and managed care. His leadership, integrity and commitment to the mission of Miami Children's Hospital, has and will continue to assist the hospital and our staff of caregivers to improve the health status of children. We look forward to working with him in his new leadership role to fulfill our academic and clinical mission.” said Thomas M. Rozek, President and CEO of Miami Children’s. 

Founded in 1950, Miami Children’s Hospital is the only licensed specialty hospital for children in South Florida. The 268-bed medical complex offers medical care and services for children from birth to age 21.
