Miami Children's Hospital’s Dentistry Program Receives Dental Accreditation

Miami, FL - Miami Children's Hospital’s Pediatric Dentistry Program has been awarded accreditation status from the American Dental Association’s Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA). CODA establishes, maintains and applies standards that ensure quality of dental-related education. The MCH program was awarded accreditation extending through 2016.

Miami Children's Hospital’s specialty education program in pediatric dentistry is a 24-month, full-time program for dental residents who provide excellent care to MCH patients under the leadership of the hospital’s dental education team. Pediatric dental services are offered at the MCH Doral Center located at 3601 NW 107 Avenue in Doral, Florida.

The Miami Children’s Hospital Doral Center provides an array of pediatric outpatient services, including an after-hours Urgent Care Center for minor medical emergencies, state-of-the-art diagnostic services (MRI and X-ray) and rehabilitation services (speech, occupational and physical therapy). This MCH location also provides pediatric dental services that offer care for young healthy children and adolescents as well as pediatric patients requiring treatment for more complex conditions. Subspecialty services include Endocrinology and Nephrology. All services at this MCH ambulatory care center location provide access to top pediatric specialists from Miami Children’s Hospital.
