Miami Children's Hospital Promotes Al Rego to Vice President of Clinical Operations

Al Rego has been promoted to Vice President of Clinical Operations at Miami Children’s Hospital. He will oversee the hospital’s pharmacy, clinical laboratory, and departments of radiology, dietary services, environmental services, and patient and guest relations.

Mr. Rego has been with Miami Children’s Hospital for 21 years and has held various positions, most recently serving as Regional Director of Ambulatory Services.
 
“Al Rego has been a great asset to our organization,” said Martha McGill, Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer. “Notably, he has helped us develop and grow our network of outpatient facilities.  We look forward to his continued leadership in the years ahead as he serves in this new and expanded role.” 
 
Mr. Rego holds a master’s degree in business administration from Florida International University.
 
He resides with his family in Pembroke Pines.
