Published on: 05/10/2006
Miami Children’s Hospital (MCH) will celebrate the opening of its new Ambulatory Care Building, with a ribbon cutting ceremony and reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, May 15.

The new building will provide needed space for some of the hospital’s most in-demand services, while increasing accessibility and convenience. Services that will be situated in the new building include: the Miami Children’s Brain Institute, Congenital Heart Institute, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and eventually the Pediatric Care Center. The attractive three-story building is fully integrated with the main hospital for a “seamless” patient experience.

“Our new building enables us to offer greater comfort and convenience to the families who entrust us with their care,” said Thomas M. Rozek, President and CEO. “It will offer expanded space for busy programs and consolidate services in ways that enhance convenience for our patients and their families.”
