Published on: 02/17/2012
MIAMI – Miami Children’s Hospital (MCH) has been recognized among the very top tier of training facilities in the nation by Training magazine.  The hospital was ranked third in the publication’s annual Top 125 Training Organizations listing. Miami Children’s has been included in the magazine’s rankings every year since 2006, advancing steadily to its present top-five position.

Training magazine ranks organizations based on a range of qualitative and quantitative factors, including financial investment in employee development, innovative learning solutions, creative web-based training solutions, leadership development programs, transfer of learning, and alignment to business strategy and goals.

In addition, the hospital received special 2012 honors in two key Training recognition categories. Miami Children’s was among five organizations to be listed in the Outstanding Training Initiative category for its use of a LifeWings, LLC,  initiative that employs safety strategies developed in the aeronautics industry. The hospital was also the recipient of Scope Score Special honors, which recognizes the organization that achieved the top score for training programs.

“At Miami Children’s, we recognize that our employees are our strength and we are committed to investing in the development and advancement of our teams. We are delighted to be recognized for this achievement as it speaks to our commitment to the caregivers and staff who serve the children and families in our care, “said Michael Kushner, Senior Vice President and Chief Talent Officer.

Loubna Noureddin, Director of Staff and Community Education, said, “The staff at Miami Children’s is fortunate to benefit from a commitment to training and development that is embraced by our entire leadership team. This is an organization in which opportunities for professional development and growth abound, and growing talent from within is a strategic priority.”
