MIAMI - Maria Moldes, Director of Children’s Miracle Network & Corporate Relations at Miami Children’s Hospital Foundation, recently was selected as the Southern Region representative for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospital Relations Committee (HRC).

The HRC is comprised of three chief development officers and eight Children’s Miracle Network program directors who represent seven regions of the United States and Canada. Moldes was selected to fill the position by the HRC Chair for her role as an emerging leader among her peers. The HRC facilitates the sharing of information among a variety of audiences, including Children’s Miracle Network boards, member hospitals and regions, and national staff.

“It is an honor to be selected for this position and represent Miami Children’s Hospital Foundation on a national scale,” said Moldes. “As a long-time advocate for raising awareness and funds for children in need of proper healthcare, it feels great to be in a role where I can make a difference in so many children’s lives.”

In 1997, Moldes was appointed as the Foundation’s Children’s Miracle Network Director, having previously served as Assistant Telethon Coordinator and Assistant Director of Special Events. The Hospital’s partnership with Children’s Miracle Network helps Miami Children’s Hospital Foundation raise funds year-round through affiliations with Children’s Miracle Network sponsors and their special events and promotions.
