Miami, FL — The Bright Spirit Children's Foundation, which provides entertainment technologies such as video games, computers, televisions, and audio for hospitals that work with seriously ill children, has donated a new Kidzpace Interactive Touch-to-Play Gaming System to Miami Children’s Hospital in Miami, Florida. This System will provide therapeutic care to children in the Hematology, Oncology, and Intensive Care Units.  Bright Spirit is pleased to support Miami Children’s Hospital and their Child Life Department.

Miami Children’s was selected from fundraising efforts at Camp Matoaka in Smithfield, ME.  Owner and Board Member Jason Silberman said, “We ran a contest during the summer to raise money for Bright Spirit, and Julie Goldstein, who resides from Coral Gables, won the event.  It was determined that we would donate to a hospital near the hometown of our winner.  Children’s was a natural fit for what we do.”

Director of Child Life, Susan Kinnebrew commented “I extend my deepest gratitude to your organization for seeking us out and offering to assist the child life department with meeting our mission which is to strive to help children grow through learning by valuing the importance of family and recognizing their individual strengths, building a strong foundation of support, commitment and ultimately providing hope.”
