MIAMI – Joseph Nader, Managing Director and Senior Wealth Advisor for Calamos Wealth Management, LLC, has been elected Vice Chair of the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Board of Directors, which provides oversight to the 309-bed private, nonprofit specialty hospital. Mr. Nader has served in board leadership roles since 2012, including chairing the hospital’s finance and investment committees, responsible for all endowment, insurance and pension plan assets.
In his role with Calamos Wealth Management, Mr. Nader leads the southeast division advisory team and works closely with many high-net-worth clients, families and institutional groups. Calamos Wealth Management, with offices in Chicago, New York, and Miami, is an SEC Registered Investment Advisor and provides comprehensive investment, trust and wealth advisory services to individuals, families and institutions, including foundations and charitable endowments.
Mr. Nader holds a master’s in business administration (MBA) from American University’s Kogod College of Business Administration in Washington, D.C., as well as a series 65 Registered Investment Advisor license.

Mr. Nader also serves as an adjunct professor with Florida International University, where he teaches a course on investments for the International MBA program. As an industry thought leader, he has written numerous articles on subjects related to comprehensive wealth management, and has been a frequent speaker and panelist.
