Dr. Deise Granado-Villar Receives Hispanic Star Award

Dr. Deise Granado-Villar, Chief Medical Officer & Senior Vice President for Medical and Academic Affairs at MCH, was awarded a “Hispanic Star Award” as the Hispanic Health Professional at the Miami International Mall Hispanic Heritage Celebration.

Dr. Granado was honored for her leadership in advocating for children and for developing programs that extend medical care to the underserved, including championing MCH’s Health on Wheels mobile health program.  Each year, the Miami International Hispanic Heritage Celebration honors extraordinary Hispanic individuals for their tireless work on important community projects in South Florida.
