“My daughter Jessica was a patient five years ago. We moved to Nicklaus Children's Hospital from Palms West in West Palm Beach. From the minute we walked in the door we were greeted with services from where our family would stay to patient therapy and meal tickets. My daughter had a large brain tumor and hydrocephalus and we were not sure she would make it.
Dr. Ragheb and his team were precise and guided us through our daughter’s well-being. My daughter was misdiagnosed for two years with emotional issues. She was given meds for emotional sleep and nausea. As her symptoms grew worse we were finally offered an MRI where we found a brain tumor the size of an orange. There was no time to react—we knew we needed to be in a hospital that specialized in children traumatic health issues. That was Nicklaus Children's. We have since come to learn of many children in our community with the same issue. Nicklaus has also been their first choice. We go back to Miami for our checkup and are pleased to say our daughter is a survivor because of our physician Dr. Ragheb! “
