Congratulations to Heart Program physicians, Leo Lopez & Kristine Guleserian, on hosting the International Society for Nomenclature of Paediatric and Congenital Heart Disease's Annual Meeting, held January 6-9 at Nicklaus Children's Hospital. Attendees came from as far as South America, Europe, Asia and North America for this event.

 

About the Team

Leo Lopez, MDDr. Cecilio “Leo” Lopez is the Medical Director of Noninvasive Cardiac Imaging. Since beginning his career in 1994, Dr. Lopez has performed more than 20,000 echo imaging studies. Dr. Lopez enjoys seeing complex congenital heart diseases and also has special clinical interests in ventricular function and quality improvement in cardiac imaging.

 


Kristine Guleserian, MDWorld-renowned congenital heart surgeon, Dr. Kristine J. Guleserian, recently joined The Heart Program’s robust congenital heart surgery offerings. Dr. Guleserian brings with her a wealth of experience in congenital heart surgery as well as pediatric heart transplantation and mechanical circulatory support.
