Lactation Group

This group, facilitated by a certified lactation consultant, will meet monthly to provide mothers with information on breastfeeding. All mothers attending the class are encouraged to ask questions, voice their concerns on breastfeeding and share stories about their experiences.

The purpose od this group is to enhance the overall understanding of breastfeeding and will provide resources for obtaining lactation supplies while also addressing any concerns and challenges during this parenting stage.

Participants are encouraged to bring their infants.

About the Speaker

Maria Miranda, RN, RNC-NIC, CLC has over 13 years experience in nursing. Ms. Martinez earned her bachelor's degreee in nursing at Washington Adventist University. She is a certified lactation consultant and facilitates the Neonatal Intensive Care Lactation Support Group at Nicklaus Children's Hospital.
