Nicklaus Children's Hospital, formerly Miami Children's Hospital, offers a variety of food and nutrition options for its patients, staff and guests.

Nutrition Services for Patients

The Nicklaus Children's Hospital, formerly Miami Children's Hospital, Food and Nutrition Department provides meals, special formulas, and clinical nutrition services to inpatients. The meals prepared and served by the department meet the nutritional requirements of the patients based on their medical and cultural needs, while at the same time appealing to their taste. The Nicklaus Children's Hospital, formerly Miami Children's Hospital, Cafeteria is located on the first floor of the Variety wing, offering breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our cafeteria options include hot meals, salad bar, grill, rotating station and a prepared foods area.  You can obtain the daily menu by calling ext. 6368.

Palm Garden

Located in the Variety Wing section near the Gift shop.
This outdoor café serves weekly lunch specials to all employees and visitors.

Jungle Café

Located main lobby on the first floor of the Variety wing.
This cafe serves regular coffee, Cuban coffee, cappuccinos, café con leche, assorted beverages, pastries, soup and grab and go healthy options.

Terrace Café

Located on the first floor in the Ambulatory Care Building near the Information Desk.
This cafe serves pastries, deli sandwiches, soup, grab and go healthy options, assorted beverages, Café con leche, Cuban Coffee and regular coffee with seating for your dining pleasure.

Vending Machines

There are a few areas with vending machines around the hospital. To the west of the Cafeteria are coffee, soda, ice cream, and snack vending machines, as well as a microwave available for visitor use. On the second floor of the hospital, near the Intensive Care Units, is another room with vending machines.
