The PFCCS course is an in-depth and comprehensive program aimed at improving pediatric care. Using the same hands-on, high-quality approach as Fundamental Critical Care Support (FCCS), this program focuses intensely on the pediatric population. PFCCS accomplishes these goals by providing a balance of didactic lectures and hands-on skill stations while building on the participants’ basic pediatric knowledge.
Audience: Physicians, Nurses and other healthcare providers who may or not be skilled in critical care but must care for such patients during early stabilization and in anticipation of the arrival of an intensivist or specialist, or pending transfer to a tertiary center.
