This session is designed for families of children with developmental delays. Participants will be provided information regarding available resources for children with developmental delays, including education, housing, nursing and other community services.
Please join us for a discussion group for families of children with developmental delays. Our board certified physical therapist will lead the discussion.
Topics include: schooling, housing, nursing care and community services. Information on resources available in the community will be provided.
About the speaker:
has a doctorate in physical therapy and is a board-certified pediatric specialist of the American Physical Therapy Association, with more than 18 years of experience working with children from infants to young adults up to age 21. She is experienced in working in the home, community, outpatient and school settings. She assisted with continuing education courses to address infants and children with neurological dysfunction. She enjoys helping families become advocates for their children and promoting independence in children with all abilities.
