Dr. Natanya Maio Mishal is a pediatric neurologist with the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Brain Institute and serves as the co-medical director of inpatient neurology at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. She earned her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Mishal completed a residency in pediatrics at University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine/Jackson Memorial Hospital. She then pursued a fellowship in pediatric neurology at University of California San Diego/Rady Children’s Hospital. Her clinical interests include neuroimmunology, epilepsy and neurocritical care. 
 
Dr. Mishal is board certified in neurology with a special qualification in pediatric neurology. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and she has presented at medical conferences. 
 
Dr. Mishal is employed by Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists (NCPS), the physician-led multispecialty medical group practice of Nicklaus Children’s Health System
